Born Benjamin Getachew in Boston, BGMK has been loving the world of imagination, animation, and storytelling all of his life. Inspired by the pantheon of talented voice artists from his childhood, he became fascinated with the power of the voice itself and the world it opened up in his vision. After the decision to own his own true voice, BGMK began his career as a Voice
Over Artist, with the goal to inspire every generation to know that they too can open a realm of possibilities and choices when they choose to own their lives. BGMK has trained intensely with
international opera singer, Gabrielle Islwyn, in order to master the technical care and use of his voice, as well as step fully into the professional world of voice use. He continued his training
with Anime Voice Actor Joe Ziega, to refine his knowledge in the Voice Acting world. Sound Engineers John Montoya and Vincenzo Vanni guided him to learn how to create a broadcast
level studio.
